VPN Install

This article will cover how to install the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility VPN application.

Preferred Method

  1. Go to the Start Menu then type in "Software Center"

     
  2. Open Software Center - You can search for "Cisco" to find Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client

     
  3. Identify & Select the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client. Then select "Install"

     
  4. You will know it has finished the install when it gives you option to "Uninstall" the application.

     
  5. Go back to the Start Menu and type in "Cisco"

     
  6. Launch Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client & Login to the VPN. Note: If in the process of logging in you are asked for the name of the portal, vpn.gcu.edu is the answer.

 

Alternative Method

 If the user is unable to access the Software Center, you can download the latest version of Cisco AnyConnect from \\gcu.edu\dept\Toolbox\Software\Cisco VPN\Cisco_Anyconnect_4.10.03104 using File Explorer and then pass it to them through MS Teams.
